Join us for an evening of beautiful music with classical guitarist Joseph Halajko. Halajko will introduce each piece, providing background information about the original composer and music period.
The Hungarian-born Halajko has been a guitar teacher and performer for over 30 years. He gave recitals in Boston, New York, Toronto, Munich, and in Budapest. In Budapest, he was a performing artist member of the State Philharmonic — the organization for public concerts of classical music. Halajko has performed with the Boston Chamber Orchestra, the Strings of Europe viola-guitar duet, the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Chamber Orchestra, the Fukuda-Halajko flute-guitar duet, and he was principal guitarist in the guitar quartet at The Boston Conservatory. He performed for the Connecticut Classical Guitar Society, and had a live lecture-recital program on television in Cambridge, MA.
All ages are invited, no registration required.
