‘and what is a Junk Journal?’ you ask….

Well, simply put it is a book created with recycled or found materials, used as a way to collect and record memories, thoughts, ideas, and inspiration. So join us for this opportunity to be creative, recycle, collect, and construct our way to a Gratitude Journal (or any other theme you desire).

Feel free to bring any materials you might want to include in yours (postcards, letters, magazines, newsletters, flyers, wrapping or decorative papers) – anything that sparks joy or feels right. You will also learn lots of tips and tricks for building journaling in your life as an amazing joy invoking tool!

We are ready for you to give it a try! No experience necessary.

Using straight knives, hooked knives and gouges, we will explore wood carving with first timers & those with some experience as well..

Please register as we are keeping this to a small group of ADULTS only.

We will be meeting twice because of the time needed to complete our spoons. Please only register if you can be here for both meetings. We will meet on January 21st and 28th, from 6:00 to 8:00pm.

Reduce plastic use and upcycle your old cotton shirts! We will melt beeswax into 100% cotton cloth and create a wonderful wrapping for foods and kitchen containers.

Please bring your cotton material, we’ll supply the beeswax. Choose an old, preferably colorful, buttoned, long-sleeved, 100% cotton shirt (not a t-shirt). Or some other 100% cotton fabric. We will cut fabric into various sizes and make a few wraps.
