Please join us for S.T.E.A.M storytime at the Dedham Main Library on Wednesday, February 26 from 3:30-4:30. During this storytime we will read a few stories and sing a few songs based on our S.T.E.A.M theme of the month.

This month we will explore the human body! After Storytime we will have interactive stations available for children to engage with.

This program is geared for children ages 3-5 with a caregiver, but siblings of any age are always welcome.

Join us for Part 2 of our Graffiti Program. We will continue to explore our own graffiti styles with guidance from the Artist.

Our artist has a background of writing on walls in the mid 90’s and then working on building walls in the 2000’s as a carpenter.

He is currently involved in creating a city-wide beautification & preservation project aimed at providing low cost murals to the public while celebrating history and diversity within the community as well as encouraging shopping local and supporting long standing businesses.

Adults, Teens and Children aged 10+ welcome.

Join Dedham Regional MMOTA (Mothers of Twins) for a special parent workshop facilitated by Parent Child Educational Specialist Marsha Wright, M.Ed., of Self Help Inc., CFCE. We will discuss why children behave the way they do, how we contribute to this behavior, and discuss strategies to address difficult behavior. Parents are encouraged to share strategies they have developed that work! This program is for adults only, and is open to MMOTA members and non-members alike.

The workshop is free, but registration is required.

Join us for an afternoon craft on Tuesday, March 3 at 3:30 at the Main Library. This week we will be making our own dragon eggs. Children will sculpt their dragon egg out of clay and use sea glass, seashells, and gems to decorate them.

All supplies will be provided and is open to children of all ages. Please be sure to register for this event as supplies are limited.

This monthly playgroup includes freeplay, simple crafts, music and movement and stories tied to a monthly theme. Infants and toddlers will have an opportunity to be engaged by toys and activities designed to enhance their development and provide them with a group experience. Caregivers will be able to connect with other caregivers with children of similar age.
