CANCELED // Creating From the Center: Mandalas for Beginners @ Main Library
Mar 24 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
CANCELED // Creating From the Center: Mandalas for Beginners @ Main Library | Dedham | Massachusetts | United States

Join us for an opportunity to get yourself into a relaxed & meditative space, one which you can create for yourself any time you want.

We will learn to draw a mandala, another word for sacred circle. The intricate look of a mandala comes from following a rhythm, which can produce stunning results. This type of repetition can be very relaxing and is a great way to bring yourself gently into the present. Mandalas can also work as a form of visual journaling, boost your creativity, memory and problem solving skills, as well as provide stress relief and spiritual self-expression.

This simple practice is not only powerful, it is fun and exciting!

Appropriate for adults & teens. Space is limited so please register through www.eventbrite.com. Any questions email: gbird@minlib.net

If you are the kind of person who hates to waste anything, this project is for you! We’ll use the simple and humble matchbox & discarded magazines to get creative and come up with ideas that are ‘outside-the-box’.
