Introduction to Robotics for Seniors and Adults @ Endicott Branch Library

Are you curious what your children or grandchildren are interested in? Always wanted to learn about robots, but didn’t know how to go further? Looking for a stimulating and engaging educational gift for a youngster? Have you ever wondered if you could program a robot? This presentation with hands-on demonstrations will help address these questions and answer others such as “What is a robot?”, “Where are robots used today?”, “What are some types of robots?”, “What is the field of robotics?”, “What role should robotics play in education?”, and “Is there a robot in your future?”.

This program offers hands-on experience with educational robots and tinkering time. It is suitable for adults and seniors of any age, 18 years and up.

No prior knowledge of robots or robotics is needed.
